I love the colors and the product for the most part, I have 3 of there harnesses and I know over the years the prodcts change and thats where it gets me, Once again ZI have 2 with the metal brackets for adjusting and they fit even my smaller girls, I think like the other said in other review they newer ones with other plastic brackets loosen easy and they seem to not go as small and my little ones slip out of it...also they when adjust I noticed on my new one that I adjust it and it leaves the excess nylon hanging and that get in the way That I didn't like..I like the other version of the harnessess from marshalls. I have to disagree with other about velcro my ferrets undo it and get out of it thats not very safe for them...The product works for me otherwise

Well I must say I agree with the harnesses not fitting tiny girls. My little girl is a tiny 1.5 lbs and it is like putting a dog harness on her. she can just walk right out of it. And as for bigger ferrets like my 5 pound boy (and no folks he is not fat- Just a big boy) It does not even come close to fitting him. I must say the only other brand of ferret harness on the site is the only thing to fit my little girl, as for my boy, the jury is still out on a harness to fit him large frame!

I ordered two of these harnesses, one for my male and one for my female. I was worried it wouldn't fit my female who is only 1.4 lbs, but to my surprise it did! I am so happy because it is hard finding a safe harness to take her out in and now I can! The harness also fit my 2.7 lbs male just as well. I think the clips make it easy to put on and take off, just make sure they clip in correctly. I am very satisfied with this product. I was able to take them both out yesterday and they loved it!

I have two baby femal ferrets and this fits them so perfectly its escape proof!!

very hard to adjust and too big for females

I have an adult female ferret and this thing is too big for her. I tried putting it on, but those darn clips are hard to adjust with a wiggly ferret who's only next move is to get that darn thing off. I couldn't adjust this enough to fit her small size, so off into the storage box it goes. Velcro definately would be a great idea, plus a smaller harness for females.

Not fun for owners

The clips on this item are so small. Not designed for the ferret in mind. As ferret owners know ferrets do not sit still very long. Velcro is a much better option.
