Bandit Ferret Treats are meat based treats for ferrets. Not all treats are suitable for ferrets. Ferret treats, like ferret food, should be mainly meat based for the nutrition and overall health of ferrets. Bandits Ferret Treats are made with fresh meat protein and are a fairly healthy treat for your pet ferret. Ferrets literally beg for their Bandits. These treats contain a small amount of fructose corn syrup (sugar) and should be fed in strict moderation. Comes in a 4 oz. carton

Just Depends on Their Mood? 07/17/2009 - by Jan from Eaton Rapids, MI US
I have 4 boys ---- two will take to these ALWAYS! The other two (who are finicky anyway), seem to only like them after I've had them a couple of weeks. The re-sealable pouch keeps them soft, and for the two finicky ones, I squish them to flatten them a little. Because of the finicky ones, I'm only giving this a 4, but they're all different, and sometimes I just think it depends on their mood!
Delicous Treats will have 'em Dooking 03/09/2009 - by Alena Litroff from Ann Arbor, MI US
Though they are not great on his teeth, my baby loves these treats. Great for training and bonding, as long as used sparingly. Baby ferrets might have a harder time chewing them, so always supervise.
All in all, i give 4 stars. (-1 because they are not benefiting health, more like candy as appose to a healthy snack.)
great!! 08/01/2008 - by Mellie from a pirate ship
My little girl loves these.Whenever I bring out the bag and shake it her tail starts thumping so loud. Not all ferrets like these since they don't have the taste for them, but for my little girl I give this a 5 star since she loves them. :]
One likes them, the other loves them 03/04/2008 - by Adam from unspecified
I have two ferrets, a boy and a girl. The boy totally loves these treats and will stand up on his hind legs and beg for them (or chase me around the room when I carry the yellow bag they come in). He knows where they are kept on a counter and is always trying to figure out a way up there when he is out of the cage. For him, satisfaction=100%.

The girl likes them and will eat them, but only if offered without any strings attached, i.e., she's not going to beg for them, she'll just eat them if you put one down on the ground next to her, and they are no big deal.

All in all, I'd say these are a hit, it's just that individual ferret tastes differ and some ferrets may love them while others find them no big deal.
Mixed reviews 08/29/2007 - by anonymous from Moses Lake, WA US
3 of my 4 like this treat, although it is not their favorite. The new package is much better than the old carton was at preserving freshness. But, I find this treat still tends to go stale rather quickly after opening the sealed bag. It does make a good training treat, as you can break it into smaller pieces easily.
eooowwww!!! 05/07/2007 - by maly from hiding somewhere
My ferret will not eat these at all!!! not even one lick or bite. I even tried putting ferretone on it, but all she did was lick the ferretone off. The only way I could trick her into eating it was by crumbling it up and mixing it into her food, she would eat it if there was no more normal food left. These did get rubbery like an old eraser from the top of a pencil. Waste of money for me.
yuck 01/24/2007 - by Jess from VA US
my ferret hates these treats he won't even try one.
Yay for Chicken Treats! 11/03/2006 - by Donald and Becca from Houston, TX US
Our ferrets idolize the Chicken Treat bag. Anytime they see it they just sit on the ground and stare up at it longingly. Anytime we shake the bag, they come running from wherever they are to get treats, and we even taught our boy to roll over using them!
Some like it 09/01/2006 - by Susan M. from Tillamook, OR US
Of my 4 ferrets, 2 like this flavor. I buy it for the 2 that do.
