 Not for the baby Ferret!

Overall the Mini Mansion is a great cage! However the spaces inbetween the bars on the walking platforms are too far apart for a smaller ferret to be able to walk comfortably. Because of this, I've had to put down marshalls mini blankets down so its more comfortable for both the young and adult ferret. The ramps also need to be bigger as the adult ferret finds it hard to climb and turn around on. My ferrets have fallen numerous times due to the platforms not reaching out far enough. Im glad the cage gives room for them to play in times of myself being unable to play with them, but it could use some improvement!

This cage is huge! For my three ferrets there is a lot of room to play, sleep, and eat! It can fit up to six ferrets!My one is very big though and has trouble climbing up and down the ramps to get up to the other platforms. He only stays at the bottom and rarely climbs up to the very top. But my other two ferrets are around only one pound and they are like monkeys. Word of advise, have the hamicks so if they fall off the high platforms a hamick would be there to catch them!It did take an hour and a half though to put it up and it take two people to do so, but it's a big cage so it's going to take some time putting it up.

Be careful if you buy this for your ferrets. While the quality is nice, and it does assemble easily, it can be unsafe. What the other reviewer said about the door pinching toes is beyond true. My ferrets weren't in this cage for 10 minutes before one got her toe stuck between the door and the opening. The gap does get tighter as it goes down, and she slid her toe right in. It was bleeding and twisted and I thought it was broken. While it turned out to not be broken, it still hurt her and cost me like $175 in vet bills. So be aware you may need to rethink the doors to make it safe for your ferrets. Plus the ramps and levels don't seem very secure so I had to zip tie them in place to feel ok about them using it.

I want to buy a new cage for my boy and little girl. This one looks good, but the pictures don't really give me a good look. Does anyone have any good pics of this cage?
I'd like to know also, if the bottom has wire above the pull out pan and if the platforms and ramps are all wire? My ferrets use the litter box 50% of the time and this would be very messy.

My 2 boys love their new mini mansion. they also really like the free lounge. they run up and down the ramps. and on nice days you can roll it outside so your fuzzies can get some fresh air.

This works really well for a multiple-ferret household. There's plenty of space for everyone. It provides easy access for ferrets, litter boxes, and toys. If you have ferrets that study how to open the doors you should get long suit case locks to ensure that no one escapes.
There is a door on the bottom where you can remove the tray to clean any litter that has fallen from the litter box. This is very convenient. However, beware that if you do not close this door tightly, the ferrets will be running across your living room.
The cage snaps together and probably will require 2 people to put together. When we put ours together our ferrets decided that they didn't like the configuration so we ended up putting it together twice. Once you get accustomed to how the cage fits together it's easy to move things around.

It was relatively easy to put together. It was up in about half an hour. It would've been sooner, but I'm not that big a person & needed help. It's sturdy & roomy & easy to move from room to room by yourself. It's easy to clean.
The ONLY problem with mine is that my fuzzies toes sometimes get pinched in between the door & the side of the cage. It has a small gap that gets smaller towards the bottom.
May be great for some, but if your babies like to climb up & down the sides instead of using the ramps, you might not want this.
